Dating in 2018

Whew chile, this story is overdue! When I think of dating in 2018 I think of battle of the sexes. Let me first start by saying being single is a beautiful thing. Queens and kings take the time that you are single to grow spiritually and personally, and most importantly focus on your happiness and loving yourself. But back to this tea. So it’s no secret, I have been single for two years now. I am now in year two and I am figuring out the dating world again. Here are some keys things that I have noticed. The first thing is some people have become way too comfortable with texting. Let me be the first to tell you, it is impossible to get to know someone through text messages. If you meet someone, and you’re interested in getting to know them, stop sending four page letters, and pick up the phone. Trust me queen, you’ll learn more about that person over the phone, and in person than you will through generic text messages. Secondly, consistency is and always will be key. Kings, real queens appreciate consistency. You cannot pursue a woman one week, disappear the next, and then decide to pick up where you guys left off when it’s convenient for you the following week. Boy bye. That’s not how life works. If you’re interested in a queen, stay consistent, it will work in your favor, trust me. Lastly, just because you’re dating someone does not mean you’re getting married tomorrow. Dating is fun, at least that’s how it should be. Like all areas in your life, dating should be about living in the moment until, and unless that moment turns into a lifetime.
