Tis the Season
It’s officially the holiday season. In the midst of traveling, shopping for my loved ones, and eating all my favorite foods I’ve had time to reflect on 2018. It’s December 2018, and 2019 is almost here. As I reflect over this year, I think about all the things I have accomplished, and I smile. But I can’t help but to dawn on the things that did not come to fruition in 2018. However, if you’ve been reading www.yougotthisqueen.com, you know that I’m not one to dwell on the past or be negative. So then I remember, life is all about seasons. Winter, spring, summer, and fall are all just seasons. So just like the four seasons that come with different weathers, different holidays, and different meanings, so does your life. This season that you’re in may feel like winter. It’s cold, life is smacking in you in the fast like a windy day in Chicago, and you can’t seem to move towards a place of comfort. But I’m here to tell you spring is coming. Flowers will blossom again; those days of not having it all will be over. The things that you’re praying for will come to fruition. Your 2018 may have not been exactly how you planned, but your 2019 will be everything you’re praying for and more. Yes it’s cold right now, and your life may not be filled with sunshine and hot sunny days. However, your season of growth and new blessings is coming your way. Remember, winter does not last forever. Be thankful during the hard times, and smile even harder during the good times.
